 H. D. “Timm” William Memorial Indian Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage more American Indian students to pursue health careers. Health careers include medicine, dentistry, and nursing, and many other areas in health related fields. A list of health related academic majors and careers are included in the scholarship application.  

1.   Is an American Indian student registered for services at UIHS, or whose parents, or guardians are registered for services at UIHS;
2.   Have acquired a High School diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED State Certified);
3.   Plan to attend a two (2) year or four (4) year college/university as a full-time student in the Academic Year 2012/2013; and
4.   Have an overall GPA of 2.0 or better.
